Ladies set - beach bag, small purse, eyeglass case and theater purse

Instruction for Beach Bag:
You will need a piece of heavy 17 x 34 inches fabric for bag's body, a piece of 4 x 37 inch similar fabric for the handle, 17 x 34 inches piece of cutaway iron-on stabilizer and 12 inch long lightning.
Iron the stabilizer to fabric. Double-fold the fabric, and draw the bag's contours on reverse side, according to following diagram (each square represents one inch): Ladies set - beach bag, small purse, eyeglass case and theater purse Cut out the bag's back side, leaving 1/4 inches from each side for seam allowance. Then re-draw it's contours on second half of fabric (which will be bag's front). Hoop bag front (don't cut it out yet), position the design correctly and embroider. Then unhoop and cut out the remaining of fabric, according to contours you've marked before. DON'T remove the stabilizer, it will help the bag to be steady and look good. stitch around front and back sides of your bag with narrow zig-zag, to prevent pealing edges.

Iron 1/2 inch from the top of each bag half, inside. Take the lightening (it must be closed), and sew it into the front & back bag parts, one after another. Keep them symmetric. When finished, open the lightening and sew the front & back sides together. Turn the back to it's right side - it's almost ready now, only lacks the handle.

Take the long piece of fabric for the handle, stitch around it with narrow zig-zag, to prevent pealing edges. Then sew the long sides together outside out, and accurately turn the handle to it's right side. You will need some kind of long stick to help yourself push it forward. Stitch the handle to your bag's sides and enjoy the results!

Instruction for Theater Purse:
You will need approx. 22 x 35 inches of quality heavyweight fabric, similar size piece of heavy iron-on cutaway, a 9.3 x 5 inch piece of carton, and a 10 inch long lightning.
Iron on the stabilizer to fabric. Mark the fabric according to following scheme, leaving 1/3 inch seam allowance. You may draw directly on ironed stabilizer - it will be hidden later. Take a look at the diagram, and make sure you understand it. The red arrows show where the lightning will be inserted (between FJ & LM sides).

Embroider a corner on right side of your purse front - make sure to align the design well. Unhoop, cut all purse parts out, and stitch around all of them with narrow zig-zag, to prevent pealing edges.

Iron 1/3 inch from the top of FJ & LM, inside, towards the wrong side. Sew in the lightning between them. Now, open the lightning.
Attach front & back of your purse with right sides to each other, and sew them together. You may round the c & H corner a little, for beauty. Turn the purse to it's right side via the opening of lightning. Insert the carton inside, to make the purse steady. Glue a mirror to the unused inside part.

This is almost the most simple project on earth, so it doesn't really need instruction. You just embroider a rose on heavy, stabilized fabric. Cut out two 3 x 7 inch pieces of it - one with rose for the front, and a blank one for the back of eyeglass case, leaving 1/3 inch seam allowance. Iron 1/3 inch from the top of both fabric pieces, and sew the top to make a neat opening. Then sew both sides together, and turn them to the right side. Insert your glasses.

Instruction for Small Purse:
For this purse you will need a good looking and heavy 6 x 14 inches piece of fabric for your purse front part, and similar size piece of monotone fabric for the inside part. You'll also need two 4.5 inch zippers, and heavy cutaway iron-on stabilizer.

Iron the stabilizer to both pieces of fabric, and mark the fabric (on side where the stabilizer is glued in) according to following scheme (each square represents one inch):

Embroider Rose #1 on right side of purse front (right 4x4 inches, which will be the decorated part). Cut out the front purse panel according to your previous marks, leaving 1/3 inch seam allowance from each side. Cut out the inside panels in very similar way, leaving 1/3 inch seam allowance.

First you will need to finish the inside panel - insert a zipper between CF & FE sides, sew in in. Repeat the same procedure with GH & IG sides. Now, when the inside panel is ready, open the middle zipper and sew front and back sides together, inside out. Turn the purse to it's right side via the opened zipper. Iron it well, to give it correct "closed" shape (4x4x4 inches, three closings). Now, sew two straight lines in the middle (QR & ST on the diagram). Add a closing button. You may also glue in a small mirror or a photo on the inside part of purse opening.
