Classic Pillows with Lovely Lilies Designs

Photos and instructions for these gorgeous pillows have been emailed to us by Bobbie B. from Memphis.
Bobbie, thank you for the awesome job!

Bobbie used beautiful artificial silk (vintage pink & shell off white colors), some trimming and Lovely Lilies embroidery designs set to create bedroom pillows. They're very simple to make, yet the perfect match of fabric, trimming, thread colors and style of the designs make the cushions look luxurious. Tips:

1. If you want to use more than one design on one pillow, like these photo show, you may want to align and join them into a single file using your embroidery software. It's MUCH easier than aligning them physically, so if you manage to keep within your max. hoop - go for it. To learn joining designs, click here...

2. Start from finding a beautiful trimming, as it's usually easier to locate a matching fabric, and certainly VERY easy to find matching thread colors. The entire beauty of this project is built on great matches between all components - trim, fabric, thread and Lovely Lilies!

3. The lilies have been embroidered here using metallic thread, and you may see it adds a lot, makes the item look richer. This trick will work in similar way for many other projects (unless you embroider something very simplistic, on very simple fabric).

4. You may use the same designs, fabric and trimming to create stunning lamp shade. It will look great with the pillows, and may go for either living room or bedroom.
