This cutwork alphabet is a true find for monogramming vintage-style items. Cutwork, or Richelieu, is a very old embroidery technique with roots in Italy. Holes are cut out at certain spots on embroidered fabrics, creating a beautiful and intriguing 'see-through' effect.
