  • Return and Refund Policy

    No merchandise may be returned or refunded without prior email authorization from ABC Machine Embroidery. Please email us with your complete order details before returning any items for any reason.

    Returns of Tangible Supplies:

    1. Embroidery thread, bobbins, and other physical embroidery supplies can be returned within 60 days from the invoice date, with prior email authorization from ABC Machine Embroidery.
    2. A full refund may be issued if you receive a clearly damaged item, and it is returned within 60 days in its original packaging. Refunds or replacements will be processed within 2 business days after we receive the returned merchandise.
    3. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason (other than receiving a clearly damaged item), you may return the item within 60 days, provided it is new and in its original packaging. Refunds will be issued for unopened, unused items. For example, if your machine doesn't seem to like the thread you've ordered and you've tried a few cones but the remaining cones are sealed, you will be refunded for all the sealed cones you return in the original box.
    4. If you miss the 60-day return period but still wish to return a new item in its original packaging, you may do so, but a 10% restocking fee will apply.
    5. Items purchased during a "sale" or "special offer" are eligible for store credit only and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

    Returns of Software:

    • All software sales are final upon purchase, whether in downloadable or CD version. We do not offer a refund policy on software. Prior to purchase, please evaluate some free embroidery designs from our archive, as they represent the quality of other designs we carry. Carefully read item descriptions to ensure the designs are the appropriate size and format for your machine.
    • We offer free technical support by email if you encounter any problems with the software.
    • In the event that you receive a defective CD (damaged during the creation process or delivery), we will replace the defective CD with a similar one.
    • Software orders can only be canceled if the product has not been delivered (i.e., download links/attachments have not been emailed or the CD has not been burned and mailed).

    Return Instructions:

    • When returning an item, please ensure your name and order number are included on the box so we can easily identify your return and process your credit.
    • As a reminder, no merchandise may be returned or refunded without prior email authorization from ABC Machine Embroidery.
